It’s Summer and you know what that means! It’s time for the new Summer Anime releases. Here are five of the newest titles to keep an eye out for:

1. Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse. This new anime is based on the best selling Japanese novel and visual novel. Follow the tale of the UN’s test pilots of the TSFT Unit

2. Tari Tari. Ever since K-On! came on the scene, the “girls who play music” genre has been getting quite full. In this show, five girls with a passion for singing team up and form an idol group. Each girl has a different dream and a different style of singing.

3. La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia. On the island of Regalos, the Arcana Famiglia is an organization that protects the island with each member’s mysterious powers. The leader of the group decides he will retire and offer control of his organization to the person who wins a competition he organizes.

4. Kingdom. In China’s Warring States period, two orphans strive to become warlords and rule China.

5. Joshiraku. Three traveling female comedians travel across Japan entertaining and getting into arguments with each other.

These are by no means the only anime to keep an eye out for, but they certainly are the hottest.
